Our definition of cyber resiliency is an organizations ability to predict, resist, recover from, and adapt to both adverse conditions, whether from attacks, or compromises on cyber resources or changing business needs, driven by the new now.
We believe that it's possible to achieve cybersecurity resilience. How best to do it depends on an organization's cyber maturity and what business demands are placed on your team. Given the new world that we live in, it's paramount to be both flexible to support the business and resilient to keep it secure.
We examined dozens of companies across critical infrastructure sectors to see what they are defining as resilience, what processes and programs they have in place, and what internal and external impediments exist to achieving their mission. Data from this report will both illuminate the problem set and will help define specific cyber needs that should be addressed.

“Global firms understand that cyber resilience is critical to drive business growth. In a recent study, 71% of global CEOs view information security as a source of competitive advantage and 69% say a strong cybersecurity strategy is critical to driving trust with key stakeholders. This concern is justified as the global average total cost of a data breach climbs to $3.92 million. Considering the high cost and significant reputational impact of breaches, ERM programs must expand and mature to mitigate these issues."
